Mike Conway
Mike manages Camargue’s Cheltenham based PR and marketing communications operation. He has handled communications for large UK and international companies and Government agencies for some twenty years.
He has particular experience in working with Government funded programmes where there is a need to communicate sensitive and complex messages regarding behavioural change.
Mike has worked extensively in built environment sectors, including construction, planning, facilities management, energy and waste. In construction, Mike has helped many Government change programmes to develop strategic positioning messages and shaped robust and effective delivery programmes for marketing communications, from the Movement for Innovation and Rethinking Construction to the Construction Best Practice Programme and Constructing Excellence. Recent construction and built infrastructure related clients include Balfour Beatty, WRAP, Defra, Advantage West Midlands, SITA, Corus and Johnson Controls.
Mike also works extensively in planning support, delivering stakeholder/political/community relations programmes for major developments and has managed the communications and PR issues for a range of large PFI bids. He is also a specialist in communications research and has conducted image audits for a number of clients.
Mike is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a judge for the Built Environment Awards.
