Julie Bartlett
Julie Bartlett has worked in marketing and communications for design and engineering firms in the United States and Europe over a thirty-year period. She began as a writer and archivist to AIA Gold Medal recipient Joseph Esherick, and then worked as a consultant to many West Coast design firms.
She was the marketing manager for ARUP’s San Francisco office in the early 1990s and then was hired by Skidmore Owings & Merrill as its West Coast Marketing Director, tasked with setting up a marketing department in San Francisco.
After her husband was transferred to London she continued her consulting work, working for Wordsearch as a project manager on three publications, and then took on her most recent assignment with RMJM where she is looking at future markets and regions internationally.
Julie has a bachelor’s degree in art and humanities from Scripps College in California.
